Publisher and scope
Publisher details supplied above need verification; contact address and effective date are awaiting confirmation. This draft must be checked against the live app and completed before publication. It describes intended handling and verified code paths; it is not a certification of compliance.
Age confirmation and signup agreement
ADAPT MOTION is for people aged 16 and over. Signup records your declaration that you meet this minimum age, your agreement to the Terms and Conditions, acknowledgement of this policy, the policy versions and confirmation time in your account metadata. We do not collect a date of birth through this confirmation. This declaration does not verify your age. Separate permissions are requested for optional measurements, health imports and sharing. Contact adaptmotionapp@gmail.com about an account believed to belong to someone under 16.
Testing policy version: 2026-10-07-testing-v1.
Information you provide
The app handles account email, authentication credentials through Supabase, optional phone number, profile name/username/photo/bio, goals, optional private male/female selection, optional consented height and weight, workouts, activity logs, progress measurements, planner entries, notes, coach connections and social actions. Workout and health-related details may be sensitive information. Public profile fields are explained at profile creation.
Why information is used
Account information supports login and sync. Training data supports logging, charts, planning and progress. Social information supports posts, follows, comments and likes. Reports support moderation. The free release disables subscription SDK initialization and entitlement requests. A future paid version may use subscription identifiers and transaction/entitlement information for verification and restoration. Initial measurement consent is requested separately, and users can continue onboarding without measurements. The publisher must verify informed consent and collection notices for every route used to save health-related information, including later training settings, notes, soreness selections and imports; the initial checkbox alone does not establish coverage for all collection.
Apple Watch and Apple Health
When enabled and tested on iPhone, an optional read-only HealthKit import requests workout access and copies workout identifiers, start dates, type, duration and distance for up to 30 days into the signed-in user’s private ADAPT MOTION training account on Supabase after explicit confirmation. It may include workouts from Apple Watch and other Health sources. This version does not import heart rate, clinical records or sleep and does not implement live Watch controls. Declining permission must leave free/manual logging available. Empty results do not establish whether read access was granted.
Location, photos and reminders
Foreground GPS tracking can record route coordinates, timestamps, distance and pace after permission; background GPS is not yet implemented in this package. Street-map images load from OpenStreetMap when enabled, disclosing the requested geographic area and connection information such as IP address to that service. Photos used to create an external share image are processed locally in the current sharing flow. Photos attached to an in-app feed post are uploaded with the post, and profile photos are stored with the profile. Removing a photo selection before posting does not upload that selected photo. Local reminders can include selected organiser details on a lock screen according to device settings.
Who can see your information
Only sessions explicitly posted are intended for the social feed. Profile visibility, followers and shared-best settings control signed-in social access. Connecting to a coach permits the workout-history sharing described in that flow; review the actual live coach schema. Profile identity fields may remain discoverable to signed-in members even where shared activity is private; confirm the final field-by-field visibility against the deployed backend. Photos attached to posts follow the visibility of those posts. Reports are restricted to authorized backend moderation. Sharing to another app sends the selected image/content to that destination under its policies.
Processors and international handling
Supabase provides authentication, database and storage services. RevenueCat integration is disabled for the free release; a future paid version may process app-account identifiers and subscription records through RevenueCat and purchases through Apple. Apple processes any enabled Health permissions. The map tile provider and user-selected social apps receive the data required for those actions. Before publication, confirm the actual hosting regions, processor entities, overseas destination countries, SDK telemetry, analytics/logging and relevant safeguards. Do not claim that no tracking or collection occurs without auditing the final dependency tree.
Support correspondence and communications
Emails you send to adaptmotionapp@gmail.com may include contact details, account references and the issue you describe. They are used to respond and resolve requests, subject to the final retention schedule and access controls. Do not send passwords or unnecessary health details. Service messages and optional marketing have different purposes. Any marketing email/SMS program must have a lawful consent basis, identify the sender and offer an effective unsubscribe method; account creation must not automatically be treated as permission for unrelated promotions. No marketing opt-in or campaign system has been verified in this package.
Storage and security
Data may be stored in cloud services, backups and local device/session storage. Access controls, server-only administrative credentials and authentication are intended to limit access. No service can guarantee absolute security. The publisher must confirm its incident response and notification process, encryption configuration and access-review practices.
Retention and deletion
The publisher must set and disclose actual retention periods for account/training data, reports, operational logs, backups and legally required transaction records. The account-deletion endpoint remains disabled until the live cleanup audit is complete. Before enabling deletion, the publisher must also determine whether health-record retention obligations apply, including under Victorian law, and implement any required restricted retention. Account closure and erasure of every record are not necessarily the same action; users must be told what is retained, why and for how long. Do not promise immediate erasure of legally retained records or backups. When enabled, deletion is designed to remove account-linked training/social data, pending invitations, owned non-shared media and the RevenueCat customer record. Separate vendor/storage/auth steps can fail partway and need retry handling. Apple may retain transaction records independently. Account deletion does not cancel subscriptions. Previously exported/shared copies may remain with recipients.
Access, correction and choices
Use private training settings and Edit profile to correct information; account settings provide a training-data export. Remove saved height/weight through Settings. Revoke Apple Health, location and notification permissions in device settings. Contact the final published privacy contact for broader access, correction, consent withdrawal or deletion assistance. Verify that exports cover the requested data; training export alone does not include every backend social record.
Complaints and children
Contact adaptmotionapp@gmail.com to request access, correction, consent withdrawal or to raise a privacy complaint. Explain the issue and requested outcome without sending your password. We may request reasonable identity verification before releasing personal information. If the complaint is not resolved, you may contact an appropriate regulator, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or the Victorian Health Complaints Commissioner (hcc.vic.gov.au), where applicable. The publisher must confirm staffing, response arrangements and any legally required timeframes before publication. Confirm the age policy and child/guardian consent approach before launch. Do not collect children’s sensitive information until the appropriate process is established.
Policy changes
Publish a dated completed policy and notify users of material changes as appropriate. Obtain fresh permission or consent where a new use requires it. Health data must not be used to target advertising or sold to data brokers.
Coach workspace update — draft
Connection-scoped schedules and messages are shared with your connected coach or client. Check-in answers are shared only after client consent. Private coach notes are not displayed to clients in the app; applicable access rights still require a publisher process. Export coaching data separately from training data. Disconnecting stops workspace access. Production retention and deletion processes still require verification.
